Pet-friendly Policy

If you are tired of never taking holidays because you won't leave your dog at home or put them in kennels then your problem is solved!

The house is set within a fully fenced yard for the protection, safety, enjoyment and comfort of your dog.

A doggie bed (medium size) is supplied on the deck together with food and water bowls. In cooler weather you might wish to bring your own doggie bedding. Please bring your own pet towels (for hygiene purposes).

Dogs should not be allowed in the house, and especially not on the furniture or bedding. While you're out your dog will be quite safe locked out in the yard. We particularly ask that your pooch is never locked in the house as they can become excited and scratch the doors or become destructive in your absence.

VERY IMPORTANT: Please pick up after your dog. It's only good manners for the next dog owners and it's part of the "doggie-on-holiday" deal.

As it is quite possible that the beach area holds ticks and fleas it's also important that you treat your dog for fleas and ticks before you arrive and on your return home. A tick/flea collar is a good idea but remember to take it off if your dog likes a swim.

The Sunshine Coast has some fantastic dog friendly beaches so come and explore. To ensure the beaches remain in pristine condition and are not soiled by dog droppings, the local councils mandate that owners should pick up after their pets.

Many local dog-friendly beaches require your pooch to be on a leash, so check the signage first. The nearest off-leash beach is the other side of Mudjimba towards Twin Waters. Drive to Mudjimba Beach (just the other side of Marcoola heading South) and continue on for a couple of kilometres before turning left and down to the parking lot.
